JAI HO

There is a widespread of information on this page which is intended to educate the general public on our Sunday services, upcoming religious events and community service opportunities. Please peruse freely but more so, we welcome you with open arms to join us for Prayer and Satsang at the Shaanti Bhavan Mandir.

Our community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to educate the younger generation to maintain their culture. We provide a platform for humanitarian services to the local, national and international community. As such, we ask that our devotees return one good deed with another. This way, the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.

Youth Group

The Naujavaan Mandalee Youth Group (NMYG) teaches the children about religion, culture and the Hindu Traditions. We also strive to teach the next generation to be well rounded and live humble lives.

Seva

We regularly perform Seva (humanitarian services) with our community partners to assist underprivileged individuals of all ages. Putting our faith into action is at the very heart of who we are and the values we live.
Our motto is "The hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray."

Arts & Culture

We celebrate our traditions by providing a variety of programs to cultivate and develop an understanding and self-awareness. We currently offer cultural and music classes and will soon include Hindi classes.

Rita Persaud (Reets)

It is with a heavy heart that the Shaanti Bhavan Family announces the passing of Behenji Rita Persaud. She was a pillar of our temple and nightingale of our community. We pray her soul reaches the abode of our sweet lord.

We regularly send emails with services updates, cancellations, announcements and Seva information.

Send us an email at shaantibhavan@gmail.com or send us a message using the form on the Contact Us page and we will add you to our distribution list.
